Abstract :
通过室内饲养彩纹猎蝽,研究其形态和生物学特征,为利用该天敌防治害虫提供基础资料。在温度(26±1)℃,光照16L∶8D,相对湿度(65±5)%的人工环境下,使用黄粉虫饲养彩纹猎蝽,观察记录其卵、若虫和成虫的形态特征、发育历期、捕食、产卵量等生物学特性,并分析其世代历期、有效积温等。结果表明:彩纹猎蝽在实验室条件下,卵期(8.50±0.74)d,若虫共5龄。成虫产卵前期(14.80±3.71)d,每雌平均产卵量(216.80±106.04)粒,成虫平均寿命(147.35±72.36)d。在实验室条件下完成1个世代的平均历期为81.38 d,所需有效积温为2 115.88日·度。该虫能够捕食草地贪夜蛾、银纹夜蛾、斜纹夜蛾、甘薯麦蛾、小菜蛾、菜青虫、土耳其扁谷盗、致倦库蚊。研究显示彩纹猎蝽在实验室环境下一年发生4代,可以捕食多种害虫,可为进一步保护和利用该天敌提供重要参考。

Abstract :
通过观察不同虫态蠋蝽在烟株上的移动距离和分布数量,了解蠋蝽释放后在烟株上的分布特点和扩散距离,为确定蠋蝽在烟株上最适释放虫态和释放位置提供依据。结果表明,在烟株释放不同虫态蠋蝽时,4龄、5龄若虫移动距离较远,不同时间的移动距离均值稳定,4龄若虫最大移动距离为81.96 cm(释放5 h后),5龄若虫最大移动距离为79.28 cm(释放8 h后);若虫释放后在烟株各部位不同时间的分布数量无显著差异,蠋蝽成虫不同时间在烟株中部的分布数量存在显著差异。相同时间下,各虫态分布在烟株中部的数量与分布于烟株上、下部的数量存在显著差异,其中各虫态在烟株中部的分布占比最大;2龄若虫在烟叶背面的分布占比大于在烟叶正面的分布占比,3龄若虫和成虫在烟叶正面的分布占比大于背面的分布占比,4龄若虫在烟叶正背面的分布数量存在显著差异,5龄若虫在烟叶正背面的分布数量无显著差异。因此,在烟田释放蠋蝽防治害虫时,建议以4龄、5龄若虫较为合适,释放位置以植株中部为宜。

布氏潜蝇茧蜂是橘小实蝇等多种实蝇害虫的重要寄生性天敌。为满足生物防治所需的大量虫源,常常需要对分批饲养的布氏潜蝇茧蜂蛹进行贮藏备用。因此,本文研究了贮藏温度及贮藏时间对不同蛹龄布氏潜蝇茧蜂羽化的影响,基于此,进一步研究了4个低温贮藏处理对羽化成虫生物学特性的影响。结果表明,贮藏温度、时间、蛹龄及其交互作用对布氏潜蝇茧蜂的羽化率具有显著影响,仅9日龄蛹在13℃下贮藏10 d及15 d后对其羽化率无显著影响,分别为73.10%及68.31%。此外,进一步研究表明上述两种冷藏处理对布氏潜蝇茧蜂羽化成虫的干重、飞行能力、寿命、繁殖子代数及生命表参数不产生任何负面影响。本研究对优化布氏潜蝇茧蜂的低温贮藏技术具有参考价值。

本实用新型涉及一种蛹寄生蜂诱集装置,其特征在于:包括下部用于插入土壤中以实现固定的支撑杆和固定设在支撑杆上端部的顶盖,所述支撑杆上部可拆套接有用于承载蛹的纸板,所述支撑杆上位于纸板的下方设有凡士林涂层。本实用新型蛹寄生蜂诱集装置结构简单、设计合理,制作成本低,有利于方便获取寄生蜂,其中顶盖可以防止粘附在蛹卡的蛹等在风雨天气中脱落,裹覆在支撑杆上用于承载蛹的纸板可以360°无死角的被寄生,且不易受风力影响而晃动;纸板下的涂抹的凡士林可以阻隔蚂蚁等昆虫的侵入。

Abstract :
In response to insect pest herbivory, plants can generate volatile components that may serve multiple roles as communication signals and defence agents in a multitrophic context. In the present study, the volatile profiles of tobacco plants Nicotiana tabacum L., with and without infestation by sap-sucking aphids Myzus persicae Sulzer, were measured by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The results revealed that a total of 10 compounds were identified from healthy tobacco plants, and a total of 14 and 16 compounds were isolated from aphid-infested tobacco plants at 24 and 48 hours after infestation, respectively. Compared to intact tobacco plants, tridecane, 1h-3a,7-methanoazulene, tetradecane, pentadecane, hentriacontane, nonane, 1,8-nonadien-3-ol, heneicosane, sulfurous acid, limonene, cedrene and dichloro acetaldehyde were newly produced in aphid-infested tobacco plants, followed by five special components that only emitted from tobacco plants at 48 hours after aphid infestation, and were similar to aliphatic compounds. However, the abundance of aromatic compounds in infested tobacco plants was significantly reduced compared to intact plants. The science of HIPVs belongs to chemical ecology, which possess a powerful potential for exploiting effective and practical infochemical-based methods to regulate the population of natural enemies, and enhance the resistance of crops in an agricultural production system.

Simple Summary Biological control programs primarily rely on the mass-release of high-quality bioagents in order to successfully suppress pests. However, producing such bioagents on a large scale and within a short timeframe or in a single step is extremely difficult. Therefore, it is important to consider methods that could increase the shelf life and help to synchronize the release schedule of bioagents reared in different batches. In the present study, we determined the effects of various cold storage protocols on the emergence and quality of Psyttalia incisi, a larval parasitoid of Bactrocera dorsalis. Our results indicated that there were no negative impacts on the emergence parameters and adult quality when late-age P. incisi pupae were stored at 13 degrees C for 10 or 15 d. This information is valuable in facilitating the mass-rearing of P. incisi and helping to improve the efficiency of biological control programs using P. incisi against B. dorsalis. Psyttalia incisi (Silvestri) is the dominant parasitoid against Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel) in fruit-producing regions of southern China. Prior to a large-scale release, it is important to generate a sufficient stockpile of P. incisi whilst considering how best to maintain their quality and performance; cold storage is an ideal method to achieve these aims. In this study, the impacts of temperature and storage duration on the developmental parameters of P. incisi pupae at different age intervals were assessed. Then, four of the cold storage protocols were chosen for further evaluating their impacts on the quality parameters of post-storage adults. Results showed that the emergence rate of P. incisi was significantly affected by storage temperature, storage duration, and pupal age interval and their interactions. However, when late-age P. incisi pupae developed at a temperature of 13 degrees C for 10 or 15 d, no undesirable impacts on dry weight, flight ability, longevity, reproduction parameters of post-storage adults, emergence rate, or the female proportion of progeny were recorded. Our findings demonstrate that cold storage has the potential for enhancing the flexibility and effectiveness of the large-scale production and application of P. incisi.

Aphidius gifuensis Ashmaed is a generalist endoparasitoid that parasitizes a variety of aphid species. In China, it is widely used as a biological control agent to protect vegetables and tobaccos in open fields; control efficiency is largely dependent on its host-seeking ability. In this study, a six-choice olfactometer was used to investigate the olfactory responses of A. gifuensis to tobacco plants that had suffered damage (either varying degrees of mechanical damage or from aphid-feeding at different time intervals) and tobacco volatiles with different dosages. Furthermore, the regularity of A. gifuensis females' response toward an aphid/tobacco complex was monitored using a Y-tube olfactometer. Our findings suggest that tobacco plants are significantly attractive to A. gifuensis after they have been punctured with 50 holes, or housed with Myzus persicae (Sulzer) at a density of 400 aphids, except at an infestation time of 12 h. Moreover, aphid density had a more significant effect on the response than the time interval since aphid application. Aphidius gifuensis was found to be active during the daytime and preferred to search for their aphid hosts at 14:00 h. Five EAG-active tobacco volatiles (trans-2-hexenal, methyl salicylate, benzaldehyde, cis-3-hexen-1-ol, and 1-hexanal) were found to significantly attract A. gifuensis females at different concentration ranges.The practical implications of these results are discussed in the framework of the sustainable biological control of pest aphids in agricultural production systems. 为研究蠋蝽的耐饥饿能力,在室内26℃无食物条件下,分别测定蠋蝽2~5龄若虫、雌成虫、雄成虫在供水及不供水条件下的存活时间。结果表明,供水处理的蠋蝽2~5龄若虫、雌成虫及雄成虫的存活时长分别为226.4、227.6、265.2、362.8、265.2和238.4 h,其中,5龄若虫的存活时长显著高于其它虫期,说明其耐饥饿能力最强。而在不供水条件下,蠋蝽2~5龄若虫、雌成虫和雄成虫的存活时长分别为129.2、142.4、215.2、176.4、198.8、141.6 h,其中,4龄若虫的耐饥饿能力最强,但存活时间与5龄若虫、雌成成虫无显著差异。综合考虑,田间释放蠋蝽以5龄若虫为宜。研究结果可为田间释放蠋蝽进行绿色防控提供一定的理论依据。
