生态治理模式对公路边坡植物多样性与土壤特性的影响

Abstract :

为探讨公路边坡不同生态治理模式的植被恢复效果,以福建福州已建设完成1.5、8.0 a的2条公路的3种不同生态治理模式边坡[液压喷播植草护坡(Ⅰ)、锚索框架地梁内植草护坡(Ⅱ)、人字形骨架植草护坡(Ⅲ)]为研究对象,比较不同生态治理模式下的植物多样性与土壤特性,分析公路边坡植物多样性与土壤特性之间的关系。结果表明:(1)不同生态治理模式的边坡植被群落主要由豆科、菊科和禾本科植物组成。不同恢复时间下,Shannon-Wiener指数、Simpson指数、Pielou指数均表现为生态治理模式Ⅱ>Ⅲ>Ⅰ,而Margalef指数则表现为生态治理模式Ⅲ>Ⅱ>Ⅰ。3种不同生态治理模式公路边坡的植被覆盖度均为恢复8.0 a大于恢复1.5 a。(2)恢复1.5 a的3种生态治理模式公路边坡的土壤理化性质之间差异较小且不显著,而恢复8.0 a的土壤理化性质之间差异较大,尤其土壤pH值、有机质和速效钾含量呈显著差异(P<0.05)。生态治理模式Ⅲ的土壤团聚体水稳性、土壤抗冲性最佳。3种生态治理模式下,公路边坡土壤团聚体水稳性及土壤抗冲性均表现为恢复1.5 a大于恢复8.0 a。(3)Margalef指数、Shannon-Wiener指数、Simpson指数、Pielou指数、植被覆盖度均与全钾含量呈极显著正相关(P<0.01);除Pielou指数外,其余3个植物多样性指数均与土壤全氮、全磷含量呈显著负相关(P<0.05),与土壤抗冲指数呈显著正相关(P<0.05);边坡坡长与植物多样性指数呈显著负相关(P<0.05),坡度与土壤抗冲性、土壤团聚体水稳性呈显著负相关(P<0.05)。综合比较,生态治理模式Ⅲ为公路边坡生态治理效果较佳的模式。

不同间伐保留密度杉楠复层林的凋落物水文特征

Abstract :

为探究杉木套种闽楠转为复层混交林经营过程中凋落物的水文效应,以福建省顺昌县杉木纯林4种不同间伐保留密度套种相同密度闽楠转化的复层林和杉木间伐不套种纯林试验林为研究对象,收集林地凋落物,测定凋落物量、持水率、拦蓄量、持水量等水文指标,研究不同杉木保留密度的杉楠复层林凋落物的水文特征。结果表明:不同间伐保留密度杉楠复层林改造对林分总凋落物量有显著影响(P<0.05),凋落物的总蓄积量、半分解量、未分解量均随着间伐保留密度的增大而升高,表现为Ⅳ(810株·hm~(-2))>Ⅲ(630株·hm~(-2))>CK(纯林570株·hm~(-2))>Ⅱ(570株·hm~(-2))>Ⅰ(375株·hm~(-2)),且半分解层蓄积量占总蓄积量的比例高于未分解层;不套种的杉木单层纯林的半分解层凋落物比例大于套种阔叶树闽楠的复层林,而未分解层凋落物的比例则相反;半分解层与未分解层凋落物吸水速率规律相似,但持水量与持水率表现为半分解层大于未分解层,且均表现为Ⅳ>Ⅲ>CK>Ⅱ>Ⅰ;凋落物最大拦蓄率变化范围为188.12%~233.54%,有效拦蓄量为24.39~48.54 t·hm-2,均表现为Ⅳ>Ⅲ>CK>Ⅱ>Ⅰ。杉木纯林间伐套种转为杉楠复层林,杉木保留密度大的杉楠复层林凋落物量及其水文功能增强,杉木保留密度较低的则相反,复层林的密度及其林分结构影响林下凋落物量及其水文功能。

Structural and Functional Characteristics of Soil Fungal Communities near Decomposing Moso Bamboo Stumps SCIE

Abstract :

Background and Objectives: Fungi degrade lignin and other fibers, thus playing an essential role in the decomposition of Phyllostachys edulis (Carriere) J.Houz. (Moso bamboo) stumps. Herein, we characterized key soil fungal communities near different levels of decomposing Moso bamboo stumps (mildly, moderately, and heavily decayed). Materials and Methods: High-throughput sequencing technology was used to analyze the soil fungal communities inside and outside of mild, moderate, and heavy decomposing Moso bamboo stumps. Results: We found nine phyla, 30 classes, 77 orders, 149 families, and 247 genera of soil fungi near the bamboo stumps. Soil fungi OTUs and diversity and richness indices were lower outside than inside the stumps, and decreased with increasing degrees of decay. Inside the bamboo stumps, Soil fungi OTUs and diversity and richness indices were the highest and lowest in moderate and heavy decay bamboo stumps, respectively. Ascomycota dominated inside (from 81% to 46%) and outside (from 69% to 49%) the stumps, and their relative abundance gradually decreased with decomposition, whereas that of Basidiomycota increased outside the stumps (from 17% to 49%). Two-way ANOVA showed that the interaction between the two factors of occurring inside and outside the bamboo stumps and the degree of decay, significantly affected Chytridiomycota and Penicillium (p < 0.001) and significantly affected Mucoromycota (p < 0.05). The abundance of different genera was significantly correlated with saprotrophic functional groups. Conclusion: Changes in the structure and functional groups of soil fungal communities may play an important role during different levels of decomposition of Moso bamboo stumps. This study provides a scientific basis for screening functional fungal strains that promote the decomposition of Moso bamboo stumps.

Abstract :

The rise in environmental nitrogen (N) is a worldwide concern, particularly in southern China, which contains highly N-contaminated areas. The ecological outcome of the increase in N should be paid additional consideration. Thus, this study was conducted to assess the impact of N on seed germination and seedling emergence of four timber species in subtropical southern China. We conducted a growth chamber experiment with three nitrogen fertilizers i.e., Ammonium sulfate (NH4)2SO4, Ammonium Nitrate (NH4NO3), and Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) with three concentrations (0.1%, 0.5% & 1%) along with control treatment (CK). We hypothesized that the impact of N on seed germination and seedling emergence would differ among species and N levels. Results showed that higher N concentration affected Cunninghamia lanceolata, Fokienia hodginisi and Pinus massoniana seedlings compared with Phoebe zhennan. Overall, fresh and dry weight as well as the length of broad-leaved species was better than coniferous and pine species. It was observed that 1% KNO3 solution enhanced the germination capacity, germination time, radicle, and hypocotyl elongation along with fresh and dry weights as compared to (NH4)2SO4 and NH4NO3. The outcome showed that deposition of 1% KNO3 is promising to increase the germination of seed and seedlings emergence.

不同干旱胁迫强度下的类芦生长权衡研究

Abstract :

权衡关系是植物生活史过程中的重要生存策略,植物生长过程的权衡关系对于理解植物在不同生境下的生存策略具有重要意义。本研究以水土保持先锋草本植物类芦(Neyraudia reynaudiana)为研究对象,采用盆栽法对类芦进行不同干旱程度的胁迫处理,分析不同胁迫处理下的生长差异和物质分配特征,探讨干旱胁迫下类芦的生长权衡。结果表明:1)不同干旱胁迫下株高间差异不显著(P> 0.05);叶片数仅干旱胁迫中期,中度、重度与供水充足间差异显著(P <0.05);分蘖数仅干旱后期,重度与轻度和供水充足间差异显著(P <0.05)。在干旱胁迫条件下,株丛高生长与分蘖、高生长与叶片数之间存在生长权衡,在中、轻度干旱胁迫初期(30 d)趋向高生长,胁迫时间延长则趋向分蘖生长;重度干旱胁迫初期趋向分蘖,随着胁迫时间延长,株高减小,分蘖数和叶片数增加。2)类芦体内的水分、干物质的分配存在显著负相关关系,随着干旱胁迫的加剧,类芦叶、茎、根和全株的干物质比率均逐渐增加,含水率逐渐下降。随着干旱胁迫程度增加,水分、干物质和总生物量在叶上的分配逐渐减少,在茎上的分配逐渐增加,根系干物质的分配比例逐渐增加。3)类芦株高与分蘖的生长和资源配置存在“此消彼长”的权衡关系,干旱逆境下,类芦通过增加分蘖的投资来提高其抵御干旱的能力和存活几率,反映了干旱胁迫下类芦的生长策略和投资权衡机制。

Abstract :

Purpose Soil bacteria comprise the largest number of soil microorganisms and play an important role in moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis) stumps decay; however, the characteristics of soil bacterial communities inside and outside these stumps remain unclear. Methods The characteristics of soil bacterial communities inside and outside Phyllostachys edulis bamboo stumps were analyzed under three different levels of decay using high-throughput sequencing technology. Results The abundance of operational taxonomic units, diversity index, and richness index inside and outside the bamboo stumps increased as the decay progressed; Proteobacteria, Acidobacteria, Actinobacteria, and Planctomycetes were the most abundant phyla in the soil inside and outside the bamboo stumps showing different levels of decay. Outside the bamboo stumps, there was a very significant positive correlation of Acidobacteria and Planctomycetes with the decaying degree. At the genus level, Rhodanobacter and Singulisphaera played an important role in the process of decay inside and outside the bamboo stumps, respectively. The Tax4Fun function prediction results showed that the relative abundance of the carbohydrate metabolism function was the highest inside and outside the bamboo stumps with different levels of decay. Proteobacteria had a very significant positive correlation with the membrane transport function, while Acidobacteria had a very significant positive correlation with the signal transduction function. Actinobacteria had a very significant positive correlation with the nucleotide metabolism and translation functions. Conclusion Our results augment our understanding of the expeditious degradation process of bamboo stumps, and provide a theoretical basis and reference for microbiological research, and sustainable bamboo stump operations.

Allocation of Phosphorus Fractions in Chinese Fir in Response to Low Phosphorus Availability Using 32P Tracer SCIE

Phosphorus (P) is among the most intractable constraints on plant fertility, particularly in acidic soils with high P fixation capacities. The effects of nutrient limitation and the adaptive strategies of plants in infertile soils are central topics in plant ecology. The development of tree cultivars with greater P use efficiency (PUE), defined as the ability of a tree to grow and be productive in soils with reduced P availability, would substantially improve forest development. The ability of plants to redistribute and transfer P across fractions determines their adaptability to P limitations. However, the mechanisms of P utilization and transport remain unknown in Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb.) Hook.) from the perspective of P fraction distribution. In this study, we investigated the distribution and translocation patterns of exogenous P and different P fractions in the M1 Chinese fir, which was identified as exhibiting high P-deficient resistance ability and maintaining higher yield under low P stress relative to the average clones, using P-32 tracking, which can accurately trace the migration pathways of exogenous P after plant absorption. We found that exogenous P in the roots was higher than in the stems or leaves under low-P conditions in which the amount of the exogenous P absorbed by M1 was significantly reduced. Under low-P conditions, the plants optimized P allocation, which led to higher PUE than under high-P conditions, with the highest PUE in the leaves, followed by the stems and roots. The M1 clone maintained a high ratio of soluble P (i.e., inorganic P and ester P) in its leaves and stems, which improved P mobility and recycling under the conditions of limited P. In the roots, the P fractions shifted from soluble inorganic P and ester P to insoluble P (i.e., nucleic P), but the total P concentration was relatively stable, which may ensure root growth and exogenous P absorption under the conditions of limited P. Our results confirm that the M1 Chinese fir reduces P demand, optimizes the allocation of P among P fractions, and increases PUE to maintain aboveground productivity in response to limited P conditions.

Poor phosphorus availability is the key factor limiting yield in plantations in South China. Low-molecular-weight organic acids (LMWOAs) have a good effect on activating insoluble phosphorus in soil. In this study, the type, content, and distribution of LMWOAs in the soil of four monoculture afforestation plantations, each planted with different species: Phoebe bournei, Schima superba, Cunninghamia lanceolata, and Michelia macclurei, in the red soil area of South China and their correlation with nutrient element content were determined to inform soil management of the plantations. The results showed that linolenic acid only exists in the P. bournei forest. Eight LMWOAs exist in the soil across the four plantations. Across all four plantations and soil layers, the total content of the eight LMWOAs were ranked as follows: oxalic acid>fumaric acid>lactic acid>malonic acid>citric acid>palmitic acid>stearic acid>cinnamic acid. According to total LMWOAs content in the soil, the plantations were ranked as follows: P. bournei plantation>S. superba plantation>C. lanceolata plantation>M. macclurei plantation. The contents of oxalic, lactic, fumaric, and malonic acid in soil were highly significantly positively correlated with the available potassium content and highly significantly negatively correlated with the available phosphorus content. The oxalic acid contents in soil were highly significantly positively correlated with the ammonium nitrogen content. The contents of cinnamic acid and malic acid in soil were highly significantly positively correlated with nitrate content.

Abstract :

植生工程是边坡治理的重要技术措施,为探讨废弃菌渣在植生工程中的应用,本研究选择食用菌栽培的废弃菌渣作为植生基材的有机质材料,聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)作为保水剂,将其与土壤、水泥、肥料、宽叶雀稗(Paspalum wettsteinii)种子按不同配比混拌后形成不同植生基质,研究不同基质配比对宽叶雀稗萌发生长的影响。结果表明:不同植生基材配比对宽叶雀稗种子发芽和幼苗生长均有影响,随着土壤比例的减小和菌渣比例的增大,宽叶雀稗种子发芽速率加快,促进萌发和幼苗生长,土壤:菌渣比为0:4时种子萌发和幼苗生长最佳,显著优于其他配比。PAM添加量对宽叶雀稗种子的萌发和幼苗生长影响与土壤:菌渣配比有关,当土壤:菌渣比为0:4时,PAM添加量2.0%加速发芽过程,PAM添加量对宽叶雀稗种子的萌发和幼苗生长影响与土壤:菌渣配比有关,当PAM添加量为1.0%时,宽叶雀稗种子萌发和幼苗生长差异较小,但PAM添加量2.0%时,对萌发和生长有一定的抑制作用。土壤:菌渣配比和PAM对萌发幼苗的生理指标存在较大影响,不同指标变化特征不同,但均存在较大影响。因此,植生工程中菌渣含量高、PAM添加量0.5%~1.0%对宽叶雀稗种子萌发和幼苗生长较有利。
