Abstract :
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is affected by ultraviolet radiation and bacterial sedimentation in pest control applications, leading to low pesticide utilization and a short duration of control. To improve Bt stability in these applications and prolong the duration of biological control, Bt LLP29 was first encapsulated using double emulsion technology, resulting in the formation of W1/O/W2 double emulsion microcapsules with sodium lignosulfonate and chitosan as wall materials. The morphological structure and functionality of microcapsules were then systematically investigated. Notably, the survival rates of Bt bacteria and spores in the microcapsules were maintained at 22.98 % and 8.18 % after 96 h of UV irradiation, and the retention rate of insecticidal protein was increased by 41.42 % after 72 h, with high mosquito-killing activity maintained. Furthermore, the Bt microcapsules exhibited excellent suspension properties and sustained release capabilities, which enhanced the retention of Bt active ingredients in the environment of young mosquitoes and extended the duration of pest control. These studies pioneered the application of double emulsion technology and microcapsules to the encapsulation of Bt based on the functional properties of chitosan. This will pave the way for the development of multifunctional Bt preparations in agricultural applications and pest control.

棉大卷叶螟Haritalodes derogata在部分地区危害有加重趋势,为有效提高对其野外识别和预测预报的准确性,本研究开展了不同发育阶段虫体的形态特征及其生物学特性初步观察。结果表明,棉大卷叶螟卵为扁椭圆形,卵长0.74 mm、卵宽0.52 mm,卵期3.21 d,卵壳有网纹结构,卵孵化率94.36%。幼虫共5龄,周身具稀疏刚毛,吐丝缀叶为害,幼虫期24.52 d,初孵幼虫体黄白色,随着虫体生长发育,颜色渐变为嫩绿色、深绿色、灰绿色、桃红色。蛹细长纺锤形,初始体色为透明淡黄绿色,渐变为红褐色、黑褐色,腹部第4腹节气门较大,尾钩7~8根,蛹长宽为13.89 mm×3.47 mm,初始蛹重81.64 mg,羽化前1日的蛹重较初始蛹重仅减少1.69%,蛹期9.74 d。成虫的羽化主要集中于暗期23:00-05:00时间段,成虫触角丝状,体淡黄色,前翅中室前缘具“OR”形褐斑,成虫重33.34 mg,蛹壳重17.31 mg,(成虫重+蛹壳重)较初始蛹重减少37.90%,成虫体长12.67 mm,产卵前期3.28 d,产卵期15.33 d,单雌产卵量可达761.37粒,成虫寿命22.03 d。棉大卷叶螟产卵量大,卵孵化率高,在福建泉州地区具有大暴发危害可能,有关部门应加强对该虫的预测预报工作。本研究对棉大卷叶螟各龄期形态特征和生物学特性的详细描述,可为基层害虫测报人员和广大科技工作者快速、准确识别该虫提供参考依据,为该虫的野外调查、虫情监测和预测预报提供基础资料。

棉大卷叶螟Haritalodes derogata是锦葵科植物的重要害虫,本研究利用解剖显微镜观察其蛹和成虫雌雄个体的形态特征,建立了一种快速鉴别棉大卷叶螟蛹和成虫雌雄性别的简易方法,可为该虫的性别相关科学研究、野外种群监测及预测预报提供更精准的数据。结果表明,雌、雄虫体的特征差异如下:雌蛹生殖孔与产卵孔连接成一裂缝状,位于第8腹节,裂缝两侧平坦无突起,裂缝上端临近第7~8腹节分节线,下端分别与第8~9、9~10腹节分节线形成倒“Y”形,裂缝与第10腹节上肛门的距离较远[(0.75±0.07) mm];雄蛹生殖孔位于第9腹节中央,两侧各有一半圆形瘤状浅突起,与其他腹部分节线不形成倒“Y”形结构,且生殖孔与肛门的距离较近[(0.39±0.04) mm]。雌成虫腹部呈圆筒状、较为粗壮,尾部顶端平截中央略凹,腹部倒数第1腹节背面有一小块黑色鳞毛丛,后翅翅缰2根;雄成虫腹部细长,尾部呈爪形、锥状,尾部末端较尖,且腹部倒数第2腹节背面有一块较大的黑色鳞毛丛,后翅翅缰仅1根。上述方法可用于快速鉴别棉大卷叶螟蛹和成虫的雌、雄性别,鉴别准确率为100%。

Abstract :
Background: The invasive brownrat (Rattus norvegicus) and the Oriental rats (Rattus tanezumi) are common commensal murid that are important hosts for rodent-borne diseases in southeast Asia. Understanding their population structure and genetic diversity is essential to uncover their invasion biology and distribution dynamics that are essential for controlling rodent-borne diseases. Methods: TA total of 103 R. norvegicus and 85 R. tanezumi were collected from 13 to 9 coastal areas of six provincial monitoring sentinel sites, respectively to assess patterns in their microsatellite loci and their mitochondrial coxl gene region. Results: Eleven sampled populations of R. norvegicus were divided into two major clusters by region. The observed heterozygosity values of all regional populations were smaller than expected genetic diversity heterozygosity values and deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium Nine sample populations of R. tanezumi were divided into three clusters; two that included sample from Hainan and Fujian provinces, and one that included samples from the other provinces and cities. The genetic diversity of R. tanezumi was highest in samples from Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces. Conclusion: The data in this paper confirm the two invasive rodent species from the southeastern coastal region of China may have relied on maritime transport to spread from the southern region of China to the Yangtze River basin. R. tanezumi may then hanve migrated unidirectionally, along the southeastern provinces of China towards the north, while R. norvegicus spread in a complex and multidirectional manner in Hainan, Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangsu Provinces of the country.

随着全球气候变暖,部分地区茶园害虫扁刺蛾Thosea sinensis再次爆发,为有效提高对其野外识别和预测预报的水平,开展了不同发育阶段虫体的形态特征及其生物学特性初步观察。结果表明,扁刺蛾卵扁平、椭圆形,卵长2.41 mm、卵宽1.77 mm,卵壳有网状线纹结构。幼虫具3对胸足、无腹足,移动时腹部呈波浪状蠕动,老熟幼虫体重542.35 mg、体长21.76 mm、体宽13.30 mm。老熟幼虫结茧后于茧内化蛹,雌虫茧长、宽均显著大于雄虫茧。蛹期体色由乳黄色渐变为黄白色、褐色至灰黑色,复眼由乳黄色渐变为红色至黑色,雌蛹体重446.95 mg,显著高于雄蛹363.32 mg。成虫体灰褐色,前翅近2/3处有一褐色横带,雌成虫体长15.23 mm显著大于雄成虫13.55 mm。扁刺蛾在江西地区1年发生2~3代,第3代发生率仅为1.37%,该虫野外被寄生率为4.66%。

Abstract :
Background: Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) continues to pose a significant public health threat to thepopulation in China. Previous epidemiological evidence indicates that HFRS is climate sensitive and influenced by meteorologicalfactors. However, past studies either focused on too-narrow geographical regions or investigated time periods that were too early.There is an urgent need for a comprehensive analysis to interpret the epidemiological patterns of meteorological factors affectingthe incidence of HFRS across diverse climate zones. Objective: In this study, we aimed to describe the overall epidemic characteristics of HFRS and explore the linkage betweenmonthly HFRS cases and meteorological factors at different climate levels in China.Methods: The reported HFRS cases and meteorological data were collected from 151 cities in China during the period from2015 to 2021. We conducted a 3-stage analysis, adopting a distributed lag nonlinear model and a generalized additive model toestimate the interactions and marginal effects of meteorological factors on HFRS. Results: This study included a total of 63,180 cases of HFRS; the epidemic trends showed seasonal fluctuations, with patternsvarying across different climate zones. Temperature had the greatest impact on the incidence of HFRS, with the maximumhysteresis effects being at 1 month (-19 degrees C; relative risk [RR] 1.64, 95% CI 1.24-2.15) in the midtemperate zone, 0 months (28 degrees C; RR 3.15, 95% CI 2.13-4.65) in the warm-temperate zone, and 0 months (4 degrees C; RR 1.72, 95% CI 1.31-2.25) in the subtropicalzone. Interactions were discovered between the average temperature, relative humidity, and precipitation in different temperaturezones. Moreover, the influence of precipitation and relative humidity on the incidence of HFRS had different characteristics underdifferent temperature layers. The hysteresis effect of meteorological factors did not end after an epidemic season, but graduallyweakened in the following 1 or 2 seasons Conclusions: Weather variability, especially low temperature, plays an important role in epidemics of HFRS in China. A longhysteresis effect indicates the necessity of continuous intervention following an HFRS epidemic. This finding can help publichealth departments guide the prevention and control of HFRS and develop strategies to cope with the impacts of climate changein specific regions

一种对杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆具有紫外保护作用的微胶囊体系及制备方法,包括W/O/W双乳液制备、微胶囊的合成、抗紫外线性能评估。本发明以杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆作为有效活性成分,采用高速均质法制备W/O/W双乳液封装杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆菌,利用壳聚糖和木质素磺酸钠的静电吸附作用在乳液的基础上合成微胶囊。双乳液的体系使杀蚊微胶囊具备悬浮能力;木质素磺酸钠的加入为苏云金芽胞杆菌提供了抗紫外线能力,有效保护相关杀蚊活性成。实验表明,本发明的双乳液微胶囊体系能够高效封装杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆菌,显著提高了杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆菌的紫外稳定性,有效保护了菌体、芽胞和晶体蛋白相关活性物质,延长了野外环境中紫外胁迫下杀蚊的持效性。

本发明涉及一种提高杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆菌抗紫外线能力的液体培养基及发酵培养方法,所述培养基由LB培养基、谷氨酰、缬氨酸、生物素组成。本发明采用响应面分析法对外源添加物含量进行优化,以获得最佳抗紫外线性能。以谷氨酰氨、缬氨酸、生物素三个因素进行响应面实验,以发酵后杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆菌紫外线辐射下存活率为响应值,使用Design‑Expert 13软件进行分析,所得最佳配方为谷氨酰胺77mg/L、缬氨酸60mg/L、生物素23μg/L。本发明的液体培养基发酵所得的杀蚊苏云金芽胞杆菌制剂紫外线胁迫下存活率显著提高,同时其产品形态、施用和生物活性上无显著区别。为抗紫外线培养基开发利用提供理论基础和依据。

【目的】扁刺蛾Thoseasinensis是茶叶重要害虫,本研究拟建立一种快速鉴别扁刺蛾蛹和成虫性别的简易方法,可为该虫的野外种群监测及预测预报提供更精准的数据。【方法】利用体视显微镜观察、拍照记录扁刺蛾不同虫态形态特征,比较分析蛹、成虫雌雄的体征差异,通过成虫外生殖器特征验证性别鉴定结果。【结果】扁刺蛾雌蛹生殖孔位于第8腹节,产卵孔位于第9腹节,生殖孔和产卵孔周围平坦无突起;但是雄蛹生殖孔位于第9腹节,呈现纵裂缝状,且两侧各有一半圆形瘤状突起。雌成虫触角丝状,腹部末端圆筒状,轻轻按压腹部,即可发现其生殖器官产卵瓣为扁椭圆形;但是雄成虫触角栉齿状,且触角长度显著短于雌成虫触角,腹部末端较细,生殖器官抱握器呈钳状。该方法能快速鉴别扁刺蛾蛹及成虫的性别,其准确率为100%。【结论】通过确定扁刺蛾蛹生殖孔位置及其形态,可以准确区分雌、雄蛹,通过辨识其成虫触角,或轻压腹部观察其生殖器结构可准确区分成虫性别。

Abstract :
Glucose oxidase (GOX) is a representative compound found in most insect saliva that can suppress plant-defensive responses. However, little is known about the origin and role of GOX in the crucifer-specialized pest Plutella xylostella. In this study, we showed obvious regurgitation from the larval gut of P. xylostella and identified abundant peptides highly similar to known GOX. Three PxGOX genes were verified with PxGOX2 preferentially expressed in the gut. The heterologously expressed PxGOX2 confirmed its function to be a GOX, and it was detected in plant wounds together with the gut regurgitant. Further experiments revealed that PxGOX2 functioned as an effector and may suppress defensive responses in plant through the production of H2O2, which modulates levels of antagonistic salicylic acid and jasmonic acid. However, excessive H2O2 in the host plant may be neutralized by peroxidase, thus forming defensive feedback. Our findings provided new insights into understanding the GOX-mediated insect-plant interactions.
