台风大风暴雨复合致灾的灾害风险评估研究:以福州市为例

Abstract :

【目的】科学评估灾害风险对提升区域灾害防御能力、针对性地制定防灾抗灾减灾措施具有重要意义。【方法】以福州市为例,基于地面气象观测资料、历史台风灾害数据,以及1 km网格的人口、经济、建筑物等承灾体调查数据,运用Copula函数和风险矩阵模型,综合评估不同重现期情景下台风大风和台风暴雨复合致灾风险。【结果】结果表明:(1)千年一遇情景下,闽清县风雨设计值最小,复合重现期对应设计值为26.03 m/s与463.72 mm;罗源县和长乐区复合重现期对应设计值最大,分别为57.78 m/s、1 173.87 mm与65.42 m/s、1 094.27 mm。(2)随着重现期水平提高,致灾因子危险性自东部沿海向西部山区增大。承灾体中高、高脆弱性地区主要分布于福州市主城区以及东南临海乡镇,与人口、经济和建筑物的集中度密切相关。(3)福州市台风灾害风险大致呈“东高西低”格局,随着重现期水平提高,灾害风险由东北、东南部沿海向内陆地区提高,福州市主城区、长乐区、罗源县、福清市风险高于其余地区。(4)极端灾害条件下(如千年一遇),中高、高风险区主要位于福州市东北、东南部与主城区,占全市总面积的34.5%。【结论】福州市台风灾害风险大致呈“东高西低”格局,随着重现期水平提高,灾害风险由东北、东南部沿海向内陆地区提高,极端灾害条件下(如千年一遇),中高、高风险区主要位于福州市东北、东南部与主城区。

Multi-Scale Evaluation of ERA5 Air Temperature and Precipitation Data over the Poyang Lake Basin of China SCIE

Abstract :

Reanalysis datasets, such as ERA5, are essential for climate research, offering comprehensive spatiotemporal coverage. However, their accuracy needs thorough evaluation for effective regional application, particularly in areas with complex topography like the Poyang Lake Basin (PLB), China's largest freshwater lake. This study evaluated ERA5's accuracy in simulating near-surface air temperature and precipitation in the PLB, using data from 24 meteorological stations. Key metrics, such as the correlation coefficient (R), root mean square error (RMSE), and mean absolute error (MAE) were applied across daily, monthly, seasonal, and annual scales. The results show that ERA5 performs well for daily mean temperature, with daily R values above 0.98 and RMSEs ranging from 0.95 degrees C to 3.11 degrees C. Its highest accuracy was in February and March, with R values exceeding 0.95, and seasonal trends were best captured in spring and autumn (R > 0.99). However, ERA5's performance for precipitation was less accurate, with daily R values between 0.578 and 0.687 and RMSEs between 8.58 mm and 11.10 mm. ERA5 consistently overestimated precipitation, particularly during 1980-2003. These findings highlight ERA5's strengths in temperature modeling and its limitations in precipitation, providing insights for identifying climate events and improving climate simulation in the PLB.

Impacts of Land-Use Change from Primary Forest to Farmland on the Storage of Soil Organic Carbon SCIE

Abstract :

Land-use change (LUC) is a significant contributor to the increase in atmospheric CO2 concentrations, with previous studies demonstrating its profound impact on soil organic carbon (SOC). The conversion of primary forests to farmland has been recognized as the most significant type of LUC inducing CO2 release from the soil. Therefore, it is critical to understand the impacts of forest LUC on SOC storage, with a particular focus on primary forest to farmland conversion. In this study, we conducted a meta-analysis of 411 observations from 41 published works and found that SOC storage decreased significantly following the conversion of primary forests to farmland. Factors such as soil depth and climate zone influenced the degree of SOC storage loss, with SOC loss being less severe in deeper soil following a conversion from primary forests to farmland. Moreover, the loss of SOC storage was more severe in temperate regions compared to tropical regions. The input and output of surface SOC, changes in soil structure, and increases in atmospheric CO2 concentrations were significant reasons for the loss of SOC following primary forest to farmland LUC. However, improving tillage methods and implementing sustainable agricultural management strategies can help reduce SOC loss. These findings highlight the importance of sustainable land-use practices in mitigating the negative impacts of forest LUC on SOC storage and the global carbon cycle.

Comparison and Integrated Application for Runoff Simulation Models in Small and Medium-Sized River Basins of Southeast China Coastal Area SCIE

Runoff simulation is of fundamental importance for hydrological research. This study evaluated the applicability of multiple hydrological models and their ensembles for simulating runoff in small and medium-sized river basins of southeastern coastal China, focusing on the Xixi tributary of Jinjiang River and the Songxi and Chongyang tributaries of Minjiang River in Fujian Province. Four lumped hydrological models were selected for analysis: GR4J, IHACRES, TVGM, and MISDc-2L. The Bayesian model averaging method was utilized to compare the performance of each individual model and the multi-model ensemble in runoff simulation. Results: (1) For the calibration and validation periods of four hydrological stations, the mean values of KGE, NS, and R2 for the models GR4J, IHACRES, TVGM, and MISDc-2L were all above 0.7, and the mean values of |RE| were below 8.3%, without significant simulation accuracy variations when basin size changes, demonstrating strong regional applicability for runoff simulation; (2) The multi-model ensemble simulations using Bayesian model averaging of GR4J, TVGM, and MISDc-2L exhibited higher accuracy than individual models; (3) The MISDc-2L model demonstrated strong applicability in daily runoff simulations for both small and medium-sized river basins in Fujian Province and the large-sized Dongting Lake basin, showing that it is worthy of further application in other river basins across China. The findings of this study provide a reference for the selection and application of hydrological models for runoff simulation in small and medium-sized river basins of southeastern coastal China.

Study region: Southeast coast of China Study focus: The reservoirs in southeast coast of China are mostly small due to the limitations of terrain. In order to analyze the impact of these densely distributed small and medium-sized reservoirs (SMRs) with lacking observation and operational data on runoff, this paper uses a hydrological model & scenario simulation method to separate the impacts of climate variability (CV), land use change (LUC) and SMRs group change on streamflow variation in two river basins of Southeast China.New hydrological insights for the region: (1) The streamflow of two basins has changed greatly, with CV and SMRs change being the main influencing factors, while the impact of LUC was relatively small. The contribution rates of CV to the annual runoff change of three hydrological stations in two river basins were 90.19%, 61.75% and 26.64%; Contribution rates of SMRs changes were 9.34%, 37.24% and 71.04%, correspondingly. (2) The regulation of streamflow by SMRs changes led to a decrease in both annual and monthly runoff, which was due to the fact that the main functions of SMRs in this region are agricultural irrigation and domestic water supply. (3) The three-factor separation method based on hydrological modeling, which separated the cumulative effects of SMRs in the form of SMRs group, would be valuable for the study and management of watersheds with numerous SMRs and lack of observation and operational data.

Abstract :

我国重金属污染形势严峻,已经影响到环境健康,重金属污染治理刻不容缓。生物淋滤技术作为一种低成本、环境友好、重金属可回收利用的治理方式,正成为国内外相关研究的热点。本研究从生物淋滤技术的原理入手,对生物淋滤技术的影响因素、应用例子及技术要点等进行了综述。针对当前存在的较少关注淋滤对象性质构成和淋滤过程中的化学/生物机制、大尺度应用不多见等问题,提出今后要在重金属污染物介质生物/理化特性、所涉及的机理机制、淋滤过程动力学/热力学,以及淋滤技术的大规模应用等方面加强研究。

针对我国南方地区广泛存在的土壤重金属污染问题,以广东韶关铅锌矿周边污染农田土壤为研究对象,探讨利用生物淋滤方法与生物淋滤联合类Fenton反应对土壤Cu、Zn、Cd和Pb的去除效果,并采用序列化学提取(SEC)方法,分析不同处理对土壤中4种重金属形态分布的影响.结果表明,经12 d生物淋滤Cu、Zn、Cd和Pb的去除率分别达到66.5%、55.1%、72.8%和35.6%,其中无机结合态重金属去除效果最好,固相中剩余重金属主要以稳定的残渣态形式存在.2 d生物淋滤联合类Fenton反应在优化的H_2O_2浓度(5 g·L-1)下,对上述4种重金属的去除率分别为55.6%、50.6%、60.7%和30.5%,低于12 d生物淋滤处理,但显著高于H_2SO_4酸化、2 d生物淋滤、化学Fenton反应等对照处理.生物淋滤联合类Fenton反应可以实现原土壤中残渣态、有机结合态和无机结合态等较稳定态重金属的有效去除,使处理后土壤中4种重金属Cu、Zn、Cd和Pb的含量分别低于50、200、0.3和250 mg·kg~(-1)的标准限值.该方法兼具生物淋滤高去除效率和Fenton反应快速处理等优势,对于修复重金属Cu、Zn、Cd和Pb等复合污染的土壤具应用前景.
