The trade-offs effect of ecosystem health and socio-economic development on tea production EI

Abstract :

Ecosystem health (EH) maintenance and improvement are important goals in environmental and ecological management, and help realize regional sustainable development goals. EH assessment and the regulatory mechanism have remained popular research fields in landscape ecology science. However, the improvement in EH assessment methods is ongoing, the influences of EH and socioeconomic development on agricultural production remain unclear. In this study, we chose Fujian Province in China as the study area, first quantitatively assess EH based on the Vigor–Organization–Resilience–Services (VORS) model, and thereafter explore the response of tea production to EH and socioeconomic development using the structural equation model (SEM). We found that the mean EH value in Fujian Province was 0.52 in 2010, which was 6.12% and 10.64% higher than that in 2000 and 2020, respectively. The high-EH-value regions were distributed in the northwest, while the southeastern regions exhibited low-EH-value agglomerations. According to the temporal evolution characteristics of EH, the kernel density curve patterns exhibited single peaks, and the curves shifted from a broad to a narrow peak from 2000 to 2020, indicating a trend toward a more balanced distribution of EH spatially. SEM results showed a significant positive effect of EH on tea production with a coefficient of 0.86. However, there is a significant trade-off between EH and economic development, as indicated by a coefficient of −0.6. There are also negative indirect effects on tea development when mediated by economic development. However, the overall effect of EH on tea production is 0.8, indicating that EH is still effective in promoting tea production. The results of this study have implications for the integration of ecosystem management and agricultural production management in the region. © 2024 The Authors

Abstract :

The realization of the value of ecological products has led to an economic means for reducing carbon emissions in China. Tea is one of the most important cash crops and one of the most popular beverages in the world. Due to the complex the tea industrial chain, it is considered to be an industry with high carbon emissions. Ecological tea products with low-carbon attributes can be considered a linkage of ecology, economy, and society. Based on this, this paper presents research on low-carbon ecological tea (LCT). Herein, we construct the formational logic of low-carbon ecological products, explore the connotations of LCT, and form a conceptual pathway for realizing LCT to contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation. This paper starts from the upstream, midstream, and downstream of the industrial chain; it establishes three value realization pathways that keep, as a priority, the promotion of ecological industrialization, focus on restoration to improve the ecology of the industrial chain, and innovate technology to expand the industrial chain. The pathways are a set of low-emission production solutions that use techniques to enhance carbon sequestration in soil, reduce the use of fertilizers and pesticides, and help shift to clean energy from low-emission sources in the stages of plantation, processing, and distribution. In the process of realizing LCT, the government plays an important role, and its support and guidance are needed. Based on stakeholder theory, this paper builds an implementation mechanism that focuses on the micro perspective (users, organizations), integrates the mesoscopic perspective (industry), and relies on the macro perspective (government).

在经济高质量发展背景下,为寻求产业学院转型升级,实现高等教育高质量发展,文章基于教育生态系统理念,梳理教育生态系统的构成逻辑,立足教育生态系统现实,分析现代产业学院教育生态系统中各要素的发展环境,借助协同共生理论,构建由政府、产业组织、高校和用户为共生单元的协同-共生系统,在多元主体、利益分配、协同模式、激励机制等框架下构建共振-共创-共生的发展路径,为现代产业学院转型升级提出可行意见。

Abstract :

把握数字经济的时代发展机遇,促进城乡融合,是当下实现乡村振兴与社会协调发展的重要抓手。本研究首先通过阐释内涵、分析理论逻辑和描述概况,阐述数字经济促进城乡融合发展的现状。其次,根据现状提出了数字经济促进城乡融合的机制,数字经济大数据加快城乡融合发展、数字经济数据整合实现城乡精准化管理、数字经济共享模式形成城乡价值“一条链”,数字经济乘数效应实现城乡跨越式发展。基于此,提出了数字经济促进城乡融合的发展路径,即加强基础设施建设,建设数字化物流体系,全面普及数字教育、实施数字乡村治理,争取政府资金支持等。最后,对数字经济促进城乡融合的前景进行了展望,认为数字经济将会进一步推动城乡融合发展,缩小城乡发展差距。

结合黑龙江省农业产业升级的背景,需要分析数字农业的发展策略。基于该研究目的,运用文献研究法、调查法等对数字农业的发展意义、存在问题和对策进行了分析。研究结果发现,现阶段黑龙江省数字农业发展的阻碍在于投入资金不足、人才缺乏、科技创新的供给不足等。针对上述问题,提出了强化政策保障、提高基础设施建设、培养数字化人才、提升农户的获得感等发展策略。

Abstract :

Ecology not only means environmental protection, but also means high efficiency and high quality. Port logistics and marine ecology are closely related, not only need to conform to the concept of ecological civilization, but also need to combine the actual conditions of operation to promote the high-quality development of the port logistics industry. This paper introduces the theory of improving the quality of Tianjin Port's logistics service by using the questionnaire survey method. The article uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to calculate the importance of customer demand, analyzes the role of expert consultation in improving the quality of port logistics services, and discusses the improvement of logistics service quality in Tianjin Port. Through quality analysis, we identified six key measures for ecological design of port logistics service quality, and proposed hardware and software recommendations to help Tianjin Port and other ports to better design services and improve service levels.

Low-carbon development is the only way to achieve sustainable development of tea. This paper takes the carbon emission and efficiency of tea production in Anxi County as the research object, and explores the ecological development of tea production in Anxi County. First, the carbon emissions from tea production in 2012-2017 were calculated according to the method provided by IPCC, and then the Malmquist index model was constructed to measure the efficiency of the tea industry including undesired output and non-expected output. The results show that the technical access and industrial scale of the tea production area in Anxi County are relatively reasonable, but carbon emissions have a negative impact on efficiency, resulting in a decrease in efficiency. In response to the above conclusions, this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions to help the tea industry in Anxi County achieve low carbon development. © 2020 IEEE.
